A Watchful Faith (Judges 16:4-5, 15-21)

What is a ‘sundew’? How do Eskimos kill a wolf? And what do they have to do with Samson let alone with how I live out my faith as a Christian  today?
In our Australian bush grows a little plant called the “sundew.” (Diasora ). It has a slender stem and tiny round leaves fringed with hairs that glisten with bright drops of liquid as delicate as fine dew.  Woe to the insect, however, that dares to dance around it in the sunny air.  For while its attractive clusters of red, white, and pink blossoms are harmless, the leaves are deadly. The shiny moisture on each leaf is sticky, and will hold any bug prisoner that touches it.
